These images are from old point and shoot cameras and the quality isn't the best but the thought and the memory of being at that spot years later was still chilling. To those that we lost and those that gave and continue to give their lives to save others. Thank you. Darkroom work. This was two seperate color negatives. The chemicals have eaten the image up since then but one of my favorite pieces I did for class soon after the 9/11 tragedy. This was a 2 or 3 minute burn in the darkroom. and was very light as you can see.

I visited my grandfathers farm back in 08 when I first got my Nikon D40. I had no idea what I was doing but I want to get back to this. Finding art in lost places. Its time to get back to my roots while streching my branches to reach further possibilities. This was a re-edit of those images. I need to take a trip back! Ran across this blog today! Lovely ladies. I would be so lucky to shoot such beauty!
http://www.literaryramblings.com/the-myth-of-the-plus-sized-model Two beautiful souls come together. They met on a mission trip in Texas and have plans to move to his native country of New Zealand in a few years. Sweet and shy and such beautifully kind humans... I was honored to capture such a signifigant moment in their lives! I shot a lovely couple yesterday. Luke & Kelci... this is just some quick phone shots but an idea of what is ciming soon.
Being somewhat in the art world with my photography I have met and networked with some of the most amaing talent. I am going to try to do a recurring artist spotlight on some of the most inspiring humans. Gavyn Sky I love this artists work. Gavyn has amazing techniques and some serious talent. I just see his work and want the world to be as moved as I am! This the man with one of my favorite pieces. I've been trying to get my hands on a piece for some time now. I pretend to paint and make squiggles but its like finger painting with the dog when I do it. Check out his website Go like him on Facebook. So I got to work with alt model Keri Ann a few weeks ago and am in love with this set. Inspired by her brand new red hair, metal, gothic culture, horror flicks, tattoos, the marilyn monroe print on her wall, and leather we hung out and captured some lovely images. This was the first set I shot with my new to me strobes. Thanks Shannon Alexander from 417 photo co. for my new lights. I had the chance to work with the sweetest couple! Adorable, quirky, polite and lovers of red shoes!!! We went Jordan Valley park and watched about 40 kids swimming in the fountain and then moved to an amazing brick wall downtown. It had busted out windows covered with plywood. Betcha can't find em! I love shooting boudoir! The ladies always say "I feel so beautiful and confident, I didn't know I looked like that!" the husbands are always dropping their jaws and sayin "Babe!" In person this is a stunning woman right here, Cameo, even her husband was muttering lovelies raving about how "hot" she looked! I love being able to make clients happy! |
