getting back to nature during the no human intentions shoot in august.....smithville lake

I met Nathan a few years ago at my day job, Best Buy in Branson, MO and then again in Springfield, MO. When he first asked me about shooting his upcoming nuptials I was hesitant. I wasn't comfortable with weddings at the time and was terrified of a bridezilla! He assured me that Rachel was sweet and very down to earth. As the big day approached I became more confident of my skills as a photographer and had shot 3  other weddings throughout the year. I knew I wanted a second shooter and I begged my mentor and friend Mike Smith to come and assist at the last minute. His amazing expertise and attention to detail helped make their day so much more special. Thank You Sir!

 I am so terribly happy for these two amazing indiviuals. I fist worked with them at Lost Valley State Park in Ponca, AR for their E-Session, 5 miles of hiking in the heat of summer (even before 10am) was killer for me. I am now training to hike Hawksbill Crag before summer! 
I love these two and hope every wedding I shoot in the future is as lovely as this one.
